The aim of the conference is to discuss the current state of transatlantic relations and recommendations for their improvement in the near future. Four policy papers, developed by leading EU and US experts, focusing on Trade, Energy and Climate Change, Democracy Promotion and EU Neighborhood, will be presented and serve as a starting point for the discussion.
The conference is organized in the framework of the Transatlantic Policy Forum – project led by Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM in association with CSIS Washington D.C., GMF US, SIEPS Stockholm, Notre Europe Paris and PSSI Prague and supported by the European Commission Delegation to the United States, the Office of Government of the Czech Republic and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
