PASOS joins CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation
The members of PASOS, a network of 26 policy centres in transition countries, agreed that PASOS should become a member of CIVICUS, an alliance of around 1,000 members from more than 100 countries.

PASOS (Policy Association for an Open Society) has taken up the invitation to become a member of CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation. The members of PASOS, a network of 26 policy centres in transition countries, agreed that PASOS should become a member of CIVICUS, an alliance of around 1,000 civil society members from more than 100 countries.
CIVICUS aims to promote an interactive and strong global civil society alliance among its members and partners. PASOS shares this goal through working to strengthen policy centres and the policymaking environment in the transition countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The CIVICUS World Assembly 2006 takes place in Glasgow, Scotland, on 21-25 June 2006. For further information, see
