This book is a summary of a comprehensive report published by IPA in the autumn of 2007 entitled “Demokracja w Polsce 2005-2007”.


The report describes the changes introduced in many fields by the Law and Justice party led by Jaroslaw Kaczynski during their period in government in Poland between 2005 and 2007. The publication is part of the IPA’s project entitled “Poland`s Democracy Watch”.
